Beetlejuice 2 shares first look at Willem Dafoe and Monica Belluci in long-awaited sequel trailer
The wait is over, goth fans! A new trailer for the long-awaited sequel, "Beetlejuice 2," has dropped, giving audiences a glimpse of the latest denizens of the afterlife and the Deetz family.
Willem Dafoe and Monica Bellucci join the macabre fun in Tim Burton's follow-up to his cult classic. The trailer offers a peek at their characters, but details are shrouded in mystery – just like a good ghost story.
We do know that Winona Ryder returns as Lydia Deetz, all grown up with a teenage daughter of her own (played by Jenna Ortega, reuniting with Burton after her scene-stealing performance in "Wednesday").
The trailer confirms the passing of Charles Deetz (originally played by Jeffrey Jones), bringing the remaining Deetz generations back to the familiar (and presumably haunted) house in Winter River.
With Lydia's daughter stirring up some paranormal trouble, it's only a matter of time before Beetlejuice's name is uttered three times. What mayhem will the bio-exorcist unleash this time? And how will Dafoe and Belluci play into the afterlife antics?
The trailer is tight-lipped, but leaves fans yearning for more. Get ready to say "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice" on September 6th when the film hits theaters!
